Visitor management and gate automation for offices and communities

The gate is the first impression and the first security layer. Paper registers do neither well.
Visitor management
A digital system records who visits, whom they meet and when. Typical features:
- Pre-registration by the host, with a QR code sent to the visitor.
- ID capture and photo at reception or a kiosk.
- Host notification by app, email or message, and approval.
- Printed or mobile pass, limited to the time and areas needed.
- Check-out and a searchable log for audit.
- Watch-lists and alerts for unwanted visitors.
Vehicle entry
Boom barriers and sliding gates can be opened by RFID tags, number-plate recognition, intercom or the host’s approval. ANPR logs each vehicle and can allow regular users automatically.
Residential communities
Resident approval of visitors by phone, delivery and domestic-staff passes, and a record kept for the committee. Intercom and video door phones tie the system together.
Offices and campuses
Integrate visitor passes with access control, so a visitor can reach only the floors they should, and with lift control where available.
Planning points
Think about queues at peak times, loops and sensors for safety, emergency release, power backup and what happens when the network is down. Be clear about data retention and privacy for visitor records.
Outcome
Faster entry for people who belong, a clear trail, and less strain on security staff.
