A rollout playbook for banks, retail chains and multi-site businesses

Doing one site well is a project. Doing fifty is a programme. The difference is repeatability.
One standard design
Define the standard branch: cabling, network, Wi-Fi, CCTV, access control, power and signage. Allow a few variants for size, not one design per site.
Survey and exceptions
A short survey catches site-specific issues such as power, cabling routes and landlord rules, without redesigning the standard.
Staging
Configure and test equipment in a central location, label it per site and ship it ready to install. This cuts on-site time and errors.
Install in waves
Schedule teams by region, track each site on a board, and capture photographs and test results as part of completion.
Network and security
SD-WAN or VPN with dual links, centrally managed firewalls and policies, and monitoring from day one.
Documentation and handover
Each site gets as-built drawings, an asset list and a contact sheet. A central register ties them together.
Support model
The same service levels and procedures at every site, with a central desk, field engineers by region and spares held close to sites.
Governance
Weekly programme reviews, a risk log and a clear change process stop scope drifting.
Delivery
Where local teams are needed in distant towns, specialist crews work under one contract with one point of accountability.
